The documentary called »All great achievements require time» is about Amar’s daily life. Amar is a 14 year old boy who is awake and on the go for 20 hours, as he’s the family’s main breadwinner. The film shows how he gets up at 4 am ,delivers newspapers, goes to an electrical shop to work, reaches school in the afternoon, and then again goes to the shop and works till night, after which he grabs a quick bite at home and starts his homework.
Andrew Hilton, the director of the film, wanted to show the difference between the haves and the have-nots.
Sometimes we take for granted all the privileges we have in life and forget that people in the other part of the world are struggling without fuss or tears in extremely adverse situations.
The film is a topper at the London-India Film Festival and Jeevika Film Festival in New Delhi.
